After reading Tim Philpot’s new novel, “Irretrievably Broken” I experienced many emotions, some I had forgotten I even had. I found myself frustrated with some of the characters, and saddened by the situation that some found themselves. The wedding in India was a most beautiful thing to read about, the ritual, the tradition, the solemnity. I was mesmerized by the detailed account presented. Judge Z's prayer encounter with the women at the end was most touching.
I could go on, but I will say this. This book should be required reading by every law student and seminary student in any University in the world. Some of the horrid conditions in the world today may be changed for the better if we returned to the true meaning of marriage, and lived it out in our lives.
